2000 Nissan Altima security question

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a 2000 Nissan Altima and when I
approach the car my 4 way blinkers flash a few
times.  It also happens when I get in the car and
after lock it.  It doesn't happen while driving it.  I
noticed that the security light also blinks at the
same time, is this normal?  A security feature?

yah that is the same with my vehicle it is to help discourage thieves.
