How long has it been since you last changed ignition parts (as Tom indicated, this is usually a symptom of aging components like plugs, wires, dist cap (or coil packs), etc. Could also be a fuel flow issue like clogged injectors or partially plugged fuel filter. Have you had it on an anaylyzer to see if you are recording any trouble codes?
