2001 Firebird Headlight unlock

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
A while back my firebird was having the motor gear
issue so my dad locked my headlights so they
stayed up even when my lights are off until I could
fix the issue.
How do I unlock my headlights so they go up and
down again?

I'd ask him if I could, he probably broke it quite honestly.. I'm working on replacing the gear now, perhaps it'll unlock itself after?
Did your Dad remove the fuse? I ask this because this is how I "locked" my lights in the up position while I waited for the parts to fix them. Removing the fuse when they're in the up position is the only way I know of for locking them.
In your car's manual there are diagrams of where the fuses are. I think, and it's been a while since I did this so I'm not 100% positive, that the fuse for the lights is in the fuse box under the hood. When you open the fuse box, just check if the fuse for the lights has been removed.
Thank you so much! I will certainly check it out and let you know if that's what it was (:
