Have a 2001 pontiac montana saying coolant is hot wont go over 30mph padle done to the floor then wont go any more

You can take it to any local auto parts store and have them read the codes, it has sensors to protect your engine. It could be the low coolant sensor, temp sensor etc. may just be an inexpensive repair.
