It's your throttle sensor I would say. Does it ever go down like at all?
throttle position sensor either faulty or disconnected...
u mean that's as high as u can get it pushing down on the gas pedal? i'd say fuel filter

If it revs/idles to 3,000 RPM's without touching the accelerator... Large Vacuum leak AFTER the throttle body... Idle Air Control Valve Sticking (common) Throttle body dirty/stuck open... Accelerator linkage stuck or out of adjustment.........Throttle Position Sensor can cause a high idle, but there usually not enough air getting into the engine for it to rev to 3k.
My engine light stays on what should I do to check to see what is wrong
