Ok my 1997 Sunfire will not start. Now I have put a starter on it, and new plugs. It is getting spark and when I had a plug out trying to start it I could smell gas so I think its getting fuel please

Please I need help Im going to loose everything if I dont get this car running. PLEASE

the engine turns over...wraw wraw wraw....ding ding kaput~ or not even a hint of high voltage activity~? the motor is locked up? the battery is fresh and had 12.5 solid volts there?

start with the basics, air-fuel-spark-timing. isn't any tougher than these~

there is an ambient air temperature sensor on the throttle body injection if this is what you've got, they have them on direct injection as well, often overlooked~

It was acting like it wanted to start but now it wont do anything turn the key lights bing bing no running car. plenty of power new battery motor is not locked up, how do i check the timing? I am a 30yr old women working on my own car. please help , thank you
