Sounds like an EAVP (Evaporative Emissions) or oxygen sensor issue. There are a few components that can screw up proper fuel delivery when the engine gets warms. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the fuel mixture and adjusts it according to the temperature of the engine. It relies on the Oxygen sensor which sends a variable signal based on engine heat. If this goes bad, your engine can stall suddenly and not start until it cools down. You should check the OBD for a code, I'm guessing that it's either the oxygen sensor or excessive vapor from the EVAP cannister. BTW AutoZone or PepBoys will check the OBD code for you for free. Good luck!
