Pay $85 and have it evacuated, checked for leaks 30mm of vacuum ...and filled with the correct oil PAG,# and amount. Then filled to the correct weight ONLY proper way, of refrigerant 134A. That's what I suggest..
What probably happened is the freon inside the compressor which contains a lubricant for the compressor has evaporated a long time ago. So when you added Freon it was too late, you probably have a blockage in your condenser or your filter drier? It's hard to tell I would take it to a shop and let them diagnose it cuz you could have multiple things wrong. Could be your compressor but then if you replace the compressor and not the condenser then the condenser could already be infiltrated with metal stuff from the old compressor. You have to change two or three different components usually at one time when you have a failure in your system the reason why is when the compressor failed there's metal being shot through the system then the metal will just destroy the new compressor if you just replace the compressor only so usually you have to replace the compressor & the filter drier and the condenser together or two of the 3 components I mentioned good luck!
