2022 Hyndai Tucson Hybrid Lemon / Buybacks

Asked by Howard Feb 12, 2024 at 12:38 PM about the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

There are so many 2022 Hyunday Tucson Hybrids for sale noted as
"Lemon/Buyback" . Why is this? Is this from the issues with the tik-tok "car
theft" issues they fixed, or the "transmission overheating" issues they also
fixed or is there something else that I should be aware of? From the surface,
they look like awesome SUVs with exceptional MPG and value for features
for the $...IF they are fixed by Hyundai. Anyone have facts on this? Thank
you in advance!

They are going to say they are fixed but….. would you trust it? My answer is no. Lemon vehicles spend more time under repair then they do on the road, so rule of thumb is never buy a Lemon/buyback vehicle. You can never get any kind of repair coverage from anybody once they pull up the history of the vehicle. Just stay away from them.
