i have a 1995 ford mustang with a 3.8l it wont start,it cranks,got fire,got gas,but still wont start..what can i look at?

If you have spark and fuel. Is there any backfiring at all. This would indicate a timing issue. Check that then go from there.

it acts like it wants to start but doesnt...while cranking it over it sounds like the motor has a drag to it also....sorry, im a chevy man,not ford..trying to put this ca together for daughter
