on most cars the inside door panels are held into place 3 ways. the first thing you want to do is look for any screws or bolts holding the panel against the door. there will usually be one or two in the area of the door armrest, usually underneath where you pull it to shut the door from the inside. sometimes but not always there is another screw or bolt in the area of the inside door handle that should be visible or have a cover over it. not sure if that's the case on a saturn. once all the screws or bolts are removed, you can take either a screw driver or flat pry bar along the bottom of the door and then up the sides to separate the clips that hold the door panel against the edges. once the clips are separated, hold out slightly on the door panel and lift it straight up. then you can reach behind the panel and undo the metal rod connecting to the inside door handle. to reassemble just reverse the process. note: it's common that at least one or more of the clips along the edges of the door panel might break when prying the door panel away from the door. if only one or two break, no need to worry about it. if more than that break though and you want to replace them, you should be able to get universal replacement clips from most auto parts stores.

Nylon Pry bar set, I used to use screw drivers, but a Nylon pry bar set is cheap and becomes very useful.
