card went crazy

2004 saturn ion coupe. A few,says prior, battery
light started coming on at random. Last night it
stayed on, car lost power, battery died. Boosted
and right seat belt air bag looking light came on,
battery light, check engine light and losing power.
Car wouldn't shift out of park to push it and
wipers came on by themselves and won't stop till
car/ battery dies and no power steering. Please
help ideas to check.

Its likely a fault/short in one of the wiring harnesses. Start by grabbing some electrical cleaner spray and look for any of the main connectors, they will be large with many 20+ wires near the engine, press the tab and pull to separate, spray, liberally and reconnect, see if any improvement. Check your battery cables, the connectors for rust/contamination and have your alternator and battery tested. You can look online for locations and colors of specific wires. If the check engine light is on, have the code scanned to see why.

My 2004 Saturn ion died while driving. First while driving the battery light came on. Later while still on the road the right side air bag light and alternator lights came on. Then the car just lost all power and died. The battery has juice but car won’t start?
