my daughter has a 2004 saturn vue 6 cylinder that won't start in hot weather. it also won't start when the engine is warm. she just had the ecml replaced and is still having the problem. have seen

Could be fuel delivery problem. Need to check fuel pressure after the car is brought up to temperature. Pressure can be at the fuel rail.
First culprit i would think is crank position sensor i had a 2000 pontiac gt that when it got hot or yhe motor was hot the crank sensor anf the wiring got hot and stop making contact with the harmonic balancer and when it cooled it would start everytime till it got hot
