Last week my Subaru Forester 2005 the CEL came on with a flashing Cruise control, brought it to the mechanic and they diagnosed as miss fire in cylinder 2 and 4, they said the miss fire was caused by loose spark plugs, after it was "fixed" the car now dies at stop lights and sign, I brought it back and they have no idea why its happening? They did mention I have a minor oil leak which should be repaired but not causing the main issue of the car dying. Any thoughts?

Maybe you need a new mechanic but I would probably install new plugs and wires and maybe a new coil pack.
