2021 Land Rover Defender Review Cost Effectiveness

Jaguar Land Rover Canada offers certification programs for used Land Rover vehicles through the Land Rover Approved Certified Pre-owned program. To qualify as a certified pre-owned Land Rover vehicle (CPO), the SUV must:

  • Have fewer than 96,000 kilometres on the odometer
  • Be within 5 years of its original in-service date
  • Pass a 165-point inspection at a Land Rover dealership, including paintwork, interior, a complete engine preparation, test drive and a final multi-point inspection
  • Be built for sale in Canada
  • Be free of frame damage
  • Not have its warranty coverage revoked due to fire, flood, accident, damage, or other causes

Reconditioning work is completed by Land Rover technicians with genuine Land Rover parts.

Warranty

Land Rover CPO vehicles are offered with a 7-year/160,000-kilometre limited warranty, whichever comes first, from the original in-service date and is an extension of any remaining new vehicle factory coverage. Warranty work does not require payment of a deductible. The warranty is fully transferable to a subsequent owner. Select vehicles may have the option for different warranty terms. One, two, or three-year extended warranty programs are available at an extra cost.
