The G55 AMG was the family choice for a "dog car" that had great acceleration, quality and styling. It definitely is not a "Soccer Mom" vehicle and beat out the Range Rover in the final analysis. The body style is timeless and the sound of that AMG engine revving up is awesome. I gave up the E55 (out of love for my dirty dogs who were too much for the backseat) a bit reluctantly because I though I would be driving a gutless bubble minivanish SUV that was in my price range. With the G55, no compromises. Love it!
