I used to have an SL500. Unfortunately, while in winter storage, the car was destroyed by rats chewing the wiring and using it as an outhouse (my insurance company declared it a total loss). I’ve had several other model Mercedes since, but I knew I had to get another SL. I don’t need the maintenance cost of a V8. The SL400 with a V6 is perfect for me and still comes with all those wonderful luxury features.Jul 10, 2024

The 9 year old > 2015 SL550 It had some issues when i drove it a few week back, but the dealer said they fixed it, lets see if they did ! Huh?
We had a Check Engine light, I checked It was there right in front of me, after opening the bonnet. Dont know if dealer knew what it was yet!
It was missing the Magic Sky Control Roof (Transparent to Opaque) & Soft Close Door options.Jul 09, 2024

Fun car really good blend of luxury and sport. Definitely not a slouch gets off the line pretty well and handles corners decently but still has all the bells and whistles so you know you’re driving a Mercedes. May 17, 2024

The 2020 is the last of the very personal Mercedes sports cars. The navigation screen is small and its software is outdated. But the dash still retains the feel of the analog age. There is a small analog clock on top of the dash (it sets itself automatically). Its for the person not wanting to drive a computer. Great power and handling. And the seats squeeze you in a turn. The cabin is very cozy. I love it!Jan 25, 2024

Great to outstanding sports / touring car from Mercedes Benz the Bi-Turbo V6 is no slouch with quick acceleration and performance while returning 29 mpg on highway driving. The AMG Sport Package improves handling but sacrifices ride quality over the standard 18” wheels & suspension settings, with that said the suspension modes can be adjusted with a switch in the center console. If you want additional performance opt for the BI-Turbo SL550 V8 model. The SL63 AMG is just crazy with the amount of torque it produces!Jan 15, 2024

Car is very nice to drive but does not have suspension for hard driving. For the cost it is better than an aston martin or bentley but without a v12 engine.Sep 21, 2023

When taken as a GT instead of a pure sports car, the Mercedes-Benz SL-class is tough to beat. Loaded with comfort features ahead of its time, extremely comfortable and compliant, can produce real-world performance when needed plus an example of world-leading craftsmanship using top-notch materials there are no better 2-person personal cruisers.Dec 24, 2022

Our 1000+ mile trips have been truly enjoyable, easy and comfortable. All the versatility of a roadster/luxury coupe available at a touch. Yet in the lap of luxury lurks a beast if you unleash it. This car has awesome power and torque. The beauty of the design turns heads.
The Diamond White over the porcelain/black ash wood interior is rich and striking. Yes, you will spend a few dollars but its difficult to find a comparable car. Porsche is Porsche.... and BMW doesnt make a real competitor. The SL Mercedes is its own category.Jun 11, 2014
