Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My air conditioning doesn't work anymore.I just changed the battery, it was dead. And now for some reason my air conditioning doesn't work anymore(I don't know if the two are related, it just happened near the same time). I don't hear anything when I push on the button a/c, usually you would hear it trying to engage.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You may have just blown a fuse or relay. Check your fusebox and/or relay compartment.
I tried changing the fuses, but it still doesn't work. There is no sound when I turn on the air conditioning button. I am going to try refilling the gas (freon)and see if that engages the system. If anyone has an opinion, let me know. Thanks
I would try that you probably have a leak in your system. Is you compressor cycling at all after you add the freon? If it is a leak you should hear it and see green or yellow coming from the area.
I hate doing a/c, but you will not see freon leak unless you add a leak detector into the system. Freon is a gas when it leaks and you most likely won't be able to detect the leak without a leak tester, or some additive. The leaks are never big enough and if they are it's because there is a line cut or something painfully obvious.
