Question type: General

when i check the oil there is only oil on the side of the dip stick with the notches
on the other side there is just a tiny bit of oil is that normal? I use the notch side
to determine if i need to add oil or not.

I think those notches hold the oil in place making it easier to read the oil level, especially when it's real clean. Just make sure the oil level is somewhere on the notched area.
