While driving rpns increase even if driving into a curve and I am applying the brakes?

It sounds like a Lean Mixture either the air filter could be plugged or the throttle body assembly could be full of carbon. Also, the fuel filter could be clogged or low fuel pressure. It could also be a vacuum leak.
