Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Girlfriends mom ran oil out on pt cruiser. Filled oil
to correct level. Starter won't turn on at all.
Everything else has power. Radio, lights, wipers
ect...read somewhere that the oil pressure sensor
could cause this. Replaced it with one from
chrysler. A few months ago I replaced the
camshaft sensor. Girlfriends brother was driving
car to college went to brake and turn as exiting the
off ramp and the car died. He waited a few minutes
it started back up

I think there is a problem and the computer won't allow the car to run , scan for codes , if you ran low on oil and the thing shut off then keeps your fingers crossed and don't put too much money into it
Adding oil AFTER the engine seizes up won't help.
Engine isn't seized. I can jump the solenoid on the starter it will roll. There's no power getting to the solenoid from the ignition lead. All fuses and grounds are good.

Try puting it in neutral and starting it possibly your shift linkage has shifted or it's not going all the way into Park that is what happened to mine I put it in neutral and it fired right up then I found we're at the shift linkage head been stretched out and it would not go fully into Park
