2007 Suzuki xl7

When it rained and flooded my area on Thursday, I
must've went threw a puddle of water to fast and
the car literally started to stall on me. All the lights
on my dashboard came on. Abs, air bag, coolant,
engine overheating etc. Like literally immediately.
My pops is a mechanic but he doesn't know to
much about suzuki's. He said it might take a few
days for everything to dry out. I haven't touched my
car since Friday when I got a jump but it wouldn't
stay started. The doors unlock with the alarm but
the alarm is very dim now. Some lights are on now
on the dashboard but not many. The battery is
brand new. Purchased in February so I'm lost for
words as to what is going on. The steering wheel is
really hard to turn also

Listen to pops. It cannot hurt to charge up the battery and clean the battery connections.

Open the underhood fuse box and make sure there isn't water sitting in there. In fact any of the under hood enclosed modules may still have water in them. Open the covers and put a hair dryer on them.
