The tire should fit. Before installing the tire, ensure that the size marked on the tire is 225/60 R16, the standard size for both the base and LX submodels of the car, and ensure the size marking of the new tire matches that of the other tires already installed on the car.
There's no difference between a Crown Vic base and LX as far as rimes are concerned. Later model police interceptors switched to 17" rims with a higher positive offset, if you're using a rim from an older CV should be fine.
