Transmission

Asked by Garciagirl Sep 06, 2018 at 09:12 PM about the 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V8 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 Ford explorer will not reverse
go into "drive", it does drive in 2nd and
3rd gear. Thing is, is that it drives
decently until it overheats. Then it
loses power until it cools. AND it
doesn't loose all the coolant.

1 Answer

Fix the overheating and change the ATF and filter. MAYBE it will work better. Nothing works correctly when it is over hot.
