Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a key that is used for the door, and a key that has a chip that is used to start
and drive the car. i lost the key with the chip that starts the car and tried to start the car
with the door key. the car started for two seconds and then shut off. i went into the
house turned my house upside down and finally found the key with the chip and tried to
start the car, it wouldn't start up at all. so then i used a coder tool and a DB3 code
pops up. is there anyone who knows what the problem is.

The best I can suggest is to disconnect the battery for about a half hour. That should clear the code. Maybe that will work.
