My car won't start

Asked by GuruX6TCC Nov 16, 2018 at 03:32 PM about the 2001 Audi A4 1.8T quattro AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dash lights come on, I can hear the fuel pump but no power to starter.  I had
the starter tested so I know that's not it.  Can anyone tell me what to check
next?  I was looking for an ignition relay but can't find it.  I did find 2 banks of
relays but cannot find a diagram to indicate which one it is.  Also, could the
problem be the ignition control module?  I'm hoping not but, does it sound
like an ignition switch problem?  Any ideas before I drop a lot of $$$ at a
repair shop?

Voltage drop wires going to starter. Connections also. YouTube topic. Google starter relay location for your model
