Will a 1998 pontiac grand prix 3.8l non
aspirated engine and tranny fit into a 2005
chevy impala

Looking at the body is not how you tell. These days its all about the electronics. You need to have exactly the same engine with exactly the same sensors etc or you will have nothing but trouble with it if it runs at all. I'd say its unlikely it will work. A lot of model years difference for one thing. Do your homework. Should be able to google both cars and find out the exact model and series of engine that went into both. If they happen to be the same you're likely OK, but if not, find the right engine. Swapping an engine twice is not as much fun as you might think.
