Where is the gas
emergency cut off
switch ?

I don't think they have an inertia switch like Ford, that shuts off the fuel pump in a crash. The only related part listed for your Chevy looks like an electrical relay that shuts off under some conditions. I once learned that Chevy fuel pump current is passed through the oil pressure switch. I think that means the fuel is cut off if there is no oil pressure. Maybe in a crash the engine stops and so will the fuel to prevent engine fires. Not sure....just a guess. But anyway, if your fuel pump isn't running, check the relay and fuse first, under the hood fuse box.
