Asked by GuruVNMD6 Aug 30, 2018 at 01:28 AM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I picked up a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 4wd slt
Laramie with the 5.9 and needed a tune up. I
changed the cap rotor plugs and wires I also
changed the fan clutch and water pump as
well as oil and filter. Once I changed the oil it
didn't want to start and once it did for the
test drive it started making a hard hitting
jerking sound. What happened in the
process of the tune up to cause this?
