1998 1/2 ton Dodge Ram (Auto)

At times, when starting to move, rpm needle runs high, tapping the gas peddle will bring it back
down, Is this a solinoid prob / pressure sensor problem ?

May be, should go to a transmission shop for the proper diagnosis.
