Truck won't start.

Asked by Chad Oct 29, 2018 at 09:44 PM about the 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck wont start.
2005 dodge 1500 5.7
Battery good. Starter good. 3 codes all for O2
sensors. P0137, p0138, p0157..
Truck cranks but wont fire up. Guessing it's not
getting fuel. But did some spray carb cleaner in
intake and no results. Any info would be helpful
thanks.

Try giving it a small shot of starting fluid. If it tries to fire then you know you have a lack of fuel issue. If it doesn't try to fire then ignition or properly timed compression may be the problem

I was having the same issue with my 2005 dodge ram. I agree with bob, spray some starting fluid into the throttle body then attempt to start. if it does start then focus on your fuel delivery system. My issue was bad gas. I had filled up at one of those cheap gas stations.
