Fuel pump

I have a 99 suburban I broke off the small
white piece that goes in the small slot...will
that be a problem

If you're talking about the little tab on top, hopefully it didn't break completely and will have a small piece left if not, it shouldn't be a problem, that's to let you know what position to mount the pump and to keep it from rotating but after you place the cover on it, it should stay in place.

I still can't see where it goes but looks like a big piece. If it's from the top where the rubber gasket goes, you'll need a new pump
