2000 Buick LeSabre

My 2000 Buick LeSabre acts like the Cadillac converter is clogged or
lack of fuel  but has plenty fuel pressure  you are driving it until gets
about 30 mph and then starts bogging down overheating spit and
sputter and What’s to die  and when it starts up it makes me think that
it’s trying to vapor lock of the noise it makes everybody’s heart of April I
don’t know what sound it was but I’m stumped  Please help  new plugs
new wires fuel pump About to go to the scrap yard rather not do that
because it still the car just need help figuring this

You (if you have the equipment) or a garage can check the backpressure of the exhaust. this can be done by removing the oxygen sensor and attaching a pressure gage. There should be very little pressure on a good exhaust (less than 5psi)
