yes very low i know thier lower then my t/a which scrapes over driveway curbs usually which is at stock height i think thier ground clearance is about 3-4 inch's.
oh come on be nice now, if he has the money to buy one and upkeep it he deserves one just as much as anyone.
hey josh what year is your t/a i love thoes cars and to the guy that asked the question they are real low
its a 97, alot of people get the 97's mixed up and say they came with LS1's, but they really came with LT1's.
nice LS1's are sick. i can beat most stock and lightly modified ones. but thats about all.
Yes the C5's are low. I have one. It doesn't bottom out too bad. As long as you take the speed bumps slow and go up inclines at a angle you will be ok. I have mine lowered and its not a big deal. The thing that you will prob scrap the most is the front air dam. That's not a big deal, it's just pieces of plastic. You will love the C5, the power and handling is great.Enjoy
Corvette owners hate speed bumps, dips in roadways and steep driveways and jacked up trucks that hit the breaks when you tailgate them. (Experience)
C-3 Corvettes on, are low to the ground. It gets lower if you go to low profile tires or like some, lower the car. At high speed, normal road dips on old winding will no doubt bottom you out. Just learn how to drive them, and you'll do just fine. Make sure your exhaust pipes are correctly fastened above the rails to avid pulling them of at high speed when bumps/dips appear. How low are you? Sit in the car, parked of course, open the door and turn around an look at the rear wheel. In the center of the wheel is the axle, about at the small of your back. That is low. The longer you keep the ?Corvette, the harder it will be to get out of it due to your age.
Actually, it's not that the cars are lower than regular cars, it's that while in a Corvette, the ground is a little higher.
