With all of today's electronics, engine and transmission swaps have become much more difficult doing brand for brand swaps. Going from one manufacturer to the other would require transplants of the wiring, transplant of engine computers, issues with smart key anti theft, fabrication of engine mounts, fabrication of exhaust systems, different custom made drive shaft, modifications to the cooling system, modification to the fuel systems, etc. Could it be done? Certainly. Do you want to try it and do you have the skills and the cash to accomplish this? I would highly doubt it.
