Misfire

Asked by Chill326 Feb 18, 2019 at 10:30 AM about the 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 5.7 hemi that has a Miss fire
only whenever I get into the gas or
when I put it under a load. and then
change the spark plugs and the boots
also checked out all the coil packs and
put in a new fuel injector any
suggestions on what it might be.

This may be the multi displacement system acting up. There are after market solutions that make your engine run on 8 cylinders all the time.
