2002 chrysler sebring

Asked by Tadams32 Jun 20, 2014 at 03:32 PM about the 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Last winter I checked my son's fluids in his car. The next day he drove and oil sprayed all over the engine. When I came home I checked the oil and added 3 quarts to bring it back to full. I have driven the car with no problems but my son is afraid something is wrong. I feel like I left the cap a little loose. He an my wife think I should take it to a mechanic and have it checked out. Any advise

If that was the only time that has happened then it was probably just a loose oil cap and there is no need to worry bout and issues coming from it.
