My lighted gauges are flickering, radio clock, odometer, gear indicator and headlights as well as interior dome lights. Also the A/C started blowing without turning it on. I'm assuming this is being caused by a short or loose ground. Where do I begin to look? What is the common thread for all of these systems?

I would suspect a bad BCM (Body Control Module) When multiple failures happen like that, it's usually the BCM.
