Dodge Dakota

Asked by Bigbryan468 Feb 02, 2016 at 07:33 AM about the 2002 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As stated yesterday. My son and I are swapping a
4.7 from a 04 1500  Ram into a 02 Dakota, that had
a v6 in it. The transmission from the half ton is
different, and was wondering about fuel pressures
and computers. We are using the complete wiring
harness from the half ton and emc. Any advise or
knowledge would be helpful.

Fuel pressure should be the same, and yes you would have to use the PCM (computer) and wiring harness to run the engine you are putting in.
