clunking and griding noise on front driver side wheel plus abs light on what could this be

My personal rule of thumb is, when it comes to suspension or braking, if you haven't been shown how, you shouldn't attempt it. Have it towed to a trusted shop or have someone you know who knows about cars come help you diagnose and repair the problem.

sounds like a axle shaft (CV shaft. as for the abs light, it could of dammaged your wheel sensor, but as mentioned. if you are not sure of what to do, take it to a shop.

the popping noise you here is your cv joint and if your not skilled with trucks take it to somone who knows how to do it.
