Overheating

My 2003 Honda Civic is running got I can't
even go 2 miles without it hand rising
towards hot..I will switch it off before it
reached the red tho...I have noticed my
resivior is steaming out also...the lower Jose
is not hot but the upper is could this be a
stuck thermostat

Have your car towed to the garage.....they overheat in a flash and you don't want engine or head damage. Is there any possibility that you also damaged the radiator?? Could possibly be a bad thermostat.
How did the water pump look when you did the timing belt, DIDN'T you replace that?

The lower hose should get hot before the upper hose. Upper hose will only get hot after the thermostat starts to open so if upper is getting hot first sounds like a clogged radiator. You can try doing a radiator and cooling system flush first and see if that helps. If not will need to replace radiator. Prestone Super Flush is really good.
Yes,. I think it's not inconceivable that the radiator is gone after 13 years..... even if you don't see it leaking, the fins lose their effectiveness with cooling systems..
