Problem

Asked by GuruZF8NX Dec 01, 2017 at 02:57 AM about the 1999 Ford Taurus SE Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just parked my car an turned it off. But I
came out a couple hours later an tried to
start it an it had a slow drag to the starting
but never turned over completely. What can
that be? I'm thinking starter because
alternator and battery was new...

check the batt terminals make sure they are tight and look for any corrosion broken/frayed wires , could very well be the starter if everything else checks out O.K.

Be sure you left nothing switched on, lights etc, seems like battery voltage may be low hence the "drag"
