2002 Lincoln LS V8

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I believe my reservoir is leaking  tremendously,
how do i replace it? Also I never let it overheat, I
only was able  to drive it 3 blocks  at time, as  the
reservoir was completely  empty. Which  at first I
believed it was the water pump. After visually
seeing that the anti freeze was leaking  On the
lower drivers  side. I'm not certain that it's the tank
although  a very high possibility. Considering the
over flow tank maybe cracked.  Also,  maybe it's
the hose coming  from the tank to fill the radiator
and water pump.

The reserbour is presurized when hot, so if you run it and it gets womed up, it will leak all coolent out if is craked because of the pressure, you need to change the reserbour.
