The 2025 Infiniti QX65 is a luxury coupe crossover, a type of vehicle that, as impractical as they may be, are having their moment in the spotlight. Fashion-conscious drivers are looking to models like the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Audi Q8, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, and the upcoming Genesis GV80 as vehicles at the forefront of the trend. These buyers are seemingly undeterred by the reduced cargo space and rear headroom offered in these vehicles. Now, Infiniti is looking to throw its hat into the ring with the 2025 Infiniti QX65, a two-row coupe version of its QX60 midsize crossover.

2025 Infiniti QX65 styling
Only one teaser photo exists of the 2025 Infiniti QX65, and it doesn’t tell us much. It featured an illuminated Infiniti logo, a segmented light signature spanning the vehicle’s entire front end, and a sporty stance to go with the coupe-signature sloped roofline. The side profile looks very similar to the smaller Infiniti QX55 compact coupe SUV with a full-window chrome surround and no floating roofline or rear quarter window adornments. How many of these design cues will make it into the production version, or even a concept vehicle, remains to be seen.
2025 Infiniti QX65 interior design and practicality
We’ve seen nothing official on the 2025 Infiniti QX65’s interior as of this writing. Since it will be closely related to the Infiniti QX60 three-row SUV, we expect its interior design and feature offerings to be very similar, including a landscape-oriented infotainment screen, a separate digital instrument cluster, plenty of analog climate controls, and an Autograph trim with quilted leather and wood trim. The one thing we do know for certain is, unlike the Infiniti QX60, the brand intends to market the QX65 as a two-row SUV. This makes sense since it will necessarily have significantly less rear headroom and cargo capacity than its three-row counterpart.
2025 Infiniti QX65 engines, motors and drive
Since the 2025 Infiniti QX65 is expected to be closely related to the three-row Infiniti QX60, we’re willing to bet it will be offered with the same powertrain. This would be a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 engine producing 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft torque, matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission and, in Canada, standard all-wheel drive (AWD). It’s always possible Infiniti could surprise us, but in this case we’d eat our proverbial hats if the QX65 diverges far from its established sibling.
2025 Infiniti QX65 price and release date
So far, Infiniti has not announced pricing or an official release date for the QX65, only that it’s confirmed to be on the way. We expect pricing and trim levels to more or less align with the QX60—putting the QX65 in the $63,000 to $76,000 range—with a launch cadence starting late in 2024 and deliveries beginning early in 2025.
