In Canada, Lincoln offers a certified pre-owned program (CPO) for its used vehicles, but they must first meet a series of criteria to be considered:
- Have fewer than 100,000 kilometres on the odometer
- Be able to pass a 200-point inspection
Should repairs be required, they will be completed by the selling dealership with Lincoln factory authorized parts.
Warranty
Lincoln Canada CPO vehicles come with comprehensive limited warranty coverage that concludes six years or 160,000 kilometres from the vehicle’s original new vehicle limited warranty start date. This is not as extensive as that provided under the new vehicle limited warranty coverage, but it does include the engine, transmission, front and rear-wheel drive systems, steering components, brakes, front and rear suspension, electrical systems, air conditioning and heating, technology components, emissions, factory audio system, and safety systems. A $100 deductible applies to warranty claims, which will be honoured at any Lincoln dealer in Canada or the United States. This warranty coverage is transferrable to a subsequent owner. Extended coverage for up to nine years or 200,000 km and a vehicle scheduled maintenance plan are offered for an extra charge.

In Canada, Lincoln certified pre-owned vehicles come with complimentary 24-hour roadside assistance for the duration of the included warranty coverage. Services include flat tire changes, battery jump starts, towing assistance up to $100 for warranty and non-warranty problems including accidents but excluding impound and repossession, lockout assistance of up to $50, out-of-fuel assistance of up to 7.5 litres delivered at no charge, travel expense reimbursement up to $1,000 for up to three days’ lodging, meals and rental vehicle for travel expenses accrued when the breakdown occurs 160 kilometres or more from home, rental car reimbursement of up to $45 per day for up to 10 days, and destination expense assistance that covers up to $100 of emergency transportation to the immediate destination. Complimentary roadside assistance is available throughout the United States and Canada.
