Used vehicles sold in Canada through the Mazda certified pre-owned program (CPO) must meet several criteria. To be considered, the Mazda must:
• Be from within the last 6 model years
• Have fewer than 120,000 kilometres on the odometer
• Pass an uncompromising 160-point inspection
Warranties
Every Mazda CPO vehicle is covered with a 7-year/140,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty effective from the new vehicle in-service date. There is no deductible for repairs performed under warranty, and it is transferable to a subsequent owner of the vehicle. Extended warranty coverage is offered at an additional cost. Any remaining new vehicle warranty coverage remains in effect until it expires based on the original in-service date.

Emergency Roadside Assistance
Mazda CPO owners are covered by 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for the duration of their 7-year/140,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty. Services available through the 24-hour roadside assistance program include jump-starts, flat tire changes, gas delivery, lock-out assistance, trip planning, and towing to the nearest Mazda dealership for up to 100 km for warranty-related, covered repairs.
Subscriptions
Every Mazda CPO vehicle comes with a 3-month trial to SiriusXM satellite radio with over 140 channels.
Vehicle History Report
A CarProof vehicle history report is included at no cost with every Mazda CPO vehicle.
30-Day Exchange Period
Should the buyer not be satisfied with the certified pre-owned vehicle, an exchange privilege is offered that allows the vehicle to be exchanged with another vehicle in inventory at the selling dealership within 30 days or 3,000 kilometres of the original purchase. Returned vehicles must be in the same condition as when they were purchase and must still be owned by the original purchaser. The vehicle will be subject to an inspection and is not eligible for exchange if damage or excess wear and tear exceeds a value of $300. In the event of damage, it must be repaired by the selling dealer. The replacement vehicles must be equal or greater value with the customer paying the difference in price.
Graduate Discounts
Recent graduates from a post-secondary institution in Canada qualify for a rebate of up to $1,000 off a Mazda certified pre-owned vehicle.
Mobility Program
Mazda Canada offers rebates for equipping certified pre-owned vehicles to meet the accessibility needs of drivers or passengers. This includes covering costs of up to $750 including GST for purchase and installation of adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment including wheelchair or other lift equipment, and hand or other driving controls. A qualifying process and documentation are required. The customer is solely responsible for the selection of both the mobility equipment manufacturer and installer. In Quebec, the law requires that individuals see a driver rehabilitation specialist for an assessment before having a vehicle modified.
Owner Loyalty Discount
If a Mazda CPO buyer already owns another Mazda vehicle, a 0.25% rate reduction off Mazda Capital Services lease or financing rates will be applied to the CPO purchase.
Special Financing Rates
Mazda certified pre-owned buyers are given special offers on financing rates for terms of up to 84 months. Leasing is not offered on Mazda CPO vehicles.
