Where can i find clock for my 1976 el camino ss

It's a analog clock that works off a spring. When it needs winding, a set of electrical contacts close, a coil energizes and the spring rotates thus opening the contacts. I would think that the contacts in your clock are worn and pitted. Try opening the clock and cleaning the contacts.
