If the needle just stopped working the cable may be damaged or broken. The speed sensor may also have gone bad. You will need to recalibrate the speedometer or get it replaced. If you do not want to attempt fixing the issue yourself or you want to leave it with the professionals, visit obdprice.com to get started.
The needle is a press on type. You can carefully pull the rest of the needle off and maybe carefully super glue it back together. Then press it back on. If that won't work for you, get another speedometer from the junkyard or Ebay. Then put that needle on yours. Hope that helps! Jim
The hardest part is getting to the part to replace it. Once you have disassembled the gauge cluster, Js08016 is right. You can pull off the broken needle and push on a new one from a junkyard vehicle or another gauge found on ebay. Keep your parts organized during the disassembly so you can get it back together after the new needle is in place.,
