when installing door panels is there a chrome piece that seperates the panel and the door

what do you mean chrome piece, like trim, chrome panels, fixtures, or emblams?

i don't think so what year? chevrolet made novas for over a decade... a '62? a '79? what year i have a '71 and there is no chrome trim in the door gap between the door and the rear quarter panel
