How to remove chrome moulding around front windshield?

My windshield is leaking and I have a windshield gasket replacement but do not know how  
to safely remove and replace the chrome molding around the windshield?  Any advice
would be appreciated,

it might just be jammed in ther it might be hard to get back in but try prying it out

Windshield removal tool at Harbor Freight makes it easier. Nothing worse than breaking one of those plastic clips, few places sell them outside of the dealership. If you try it with a screwdriver you'll either dent or ding the trim or break a clip.
